Base rates and free travel zones

They apply to visits carried out within each nurse’s free travel zone:

Base rates assume that the patient already has the necessary materials. Blood samples, vital signs measurement, suture removal and bedridden patient assessment are the exceptions.

Visits outside the free travel zones

A distance supplement of €0.50 per km is added to the cost of the service, counted for the round trip.

The calculation uses the shortest road route available on Google Maps and does not include any tolls.

Confidentiality, privacy and informed consent

Home care is provided with full respect for the dignity, autonomy and privacy of the patient and their family, with complete transparency and in compliance with current regulations.

• Professional secrecy and code of conduct. All clinical and personal information is protected by professional secrecy and by the Italian Code of Conduct for the Nursing Professions.
• Data protection (GDPR, EU Reg. 2016/679). Personal and health data are processed to arrange and provide care and meet related obligations, according to the purposes and legal bases described in the notices provided by the professionals.
• Informed consent. Every treatment is explained beforehand and agreed with the patient or their legal guardians.
